“The idea came from me. I wanted to do something in return especially for the socially disadvantaged, people with disabilities and children in homes. The images, items in the media and stories I personally heard from these people motivated me to do so”, says Bryan Vinisi chairman of the Blackfashion foundation.

“Coronavirus has had a major impact on several areas in Suriname. As a result of this, certain people became unemployed or do not receive subsidies etc. For me, this was just the right opportunity to give something back to the community. As a Mister I feel like it is my duty to help out since I am not allowed to travel abroad”, says Halden.

Bryan Vinisi: “With the help of your donation we want to do our part to alleviate the suffering of these affected people. With the donations we want to provide food, clothing and several basic needs and goods. We have already raised € 390 up till now. The goal is raise € 2500.  We want to make a small gesture and show that Suriname is in our heart always’, says Bryan Vinisi owner of Black Fashion week.
